::appearance:: with a fair complexion, ai stands at a short height of only 4'11'', weighing only 81 pounds. this gives her an automatic appearance similar to a fragile child's. despite her light weight, her body is actually very soft in appearance, with no actual muscle definition. her hair, falling about to the middle of her back with bangs that she may either keep straight down or parted to the sides, is naturally a rich brown, but she often dyes it a bright bubblegum pink. her eyes are a warm chocolate brown (though she's been known to wear hued, non prescription contacts from time to time) that seem to have a smile of their own.
ai's ears are pierced several times each; three times on each lobe, twice on her upper left cartilage, and once on her upper right cartilage. she also sports a centered lip piercing and tattoo of various sized, black solid stars on her left wrist. she does, however, take out her piercings and tries to hide her tattoo as well as possible, when at school.
outside of school, she can often be found in various visual/oshare kei styled clothing. you could even say she easily resembles a walking rainbow. however, jeans and regular band t-shirts may appear occasionally in her wardrobe. ai is not afraid to wear makeup, and also applies it with a very visual/oshare kei style in mind.
::personality:: ai is overall a very 'happy-go-lucky' kid with a sweet personality (much like the candy she eats). known to be hyperactive and sometimes spontaneous, she's quite fun-loving and much like a child. however, ai is fully able to act maturely, and is aware when such an attitude is most appropriate. ai is also very friendly, known to be cute, and quite bubbly. unfortunately, she is also easily distracted at times, a procrastinator, and can be a bit perverted if the occasion arises. she's also very cleanly and surprisingly organized. with a peace-loving outlook, she's quite caring and loving. all in all, she's a very artistic and eccentric teenager.

::good traits:: friendly. often happy. wants others to be just as happy as she. very caring. considerate of others. very accepting. loving. quite peaceful.

::fighting style:: unfortunately, ai wouldn't hold up in a fight. instead, she would end up cowering. she tries to avoid any and all conflict. basically, she's a wimp. if ever stuck in fight, she can only either beg for mercy, or hope her 'opponent' takes pity on her pathetic state and does minimal damage.
::history:: ai grew up an only child living with her artistic 'hippie' mother and hardworking, successful father, in kyoto. she always found the simplest pleasures of life to enjoy; whether it be napping on the porch of her grandmother's home in the country, under a warm summer sun, or inhaling the fresh scent of rain the chirping crickets had warned of. like her mother, she was drawn to the arts. ai would often practice her drawing skills aside her mother. also highly attracted to music and dancing, she's never been without either in her life. in fact, if ever in a foul mood, she has a tendency to blast her favorite songs on her mp3 player and dance her frustration away.
her parent's only wishes for their daughter is that she lives and enjoys a happy life, and that she strives to reach for and accomplish her dreams, whatever they may be.
ai attended school in kyoto through the ninth grade. recently, however, her father was promoted in the business he works for, and was transferred to the tokyo area office to continue his work. this pulled ai from her tenth grade class in kyoto during the second term, as her family had to move. unfortunately, she had to leave behind her best friend since childhood, though she's more than determined to keep a strong connection between the two of them.

father: senichi kohara, a 43 year old male with graying black hair that he keeps short and neat, and brown eyes. standing at 5'8'' and weighing 132 pounds, with a fair complexion, he works as a businessman.
mother: reiko kohara, a 34 year old female with rich brown hair falling to her shoulders, and brown eyes. standing at 5'4'' and weighing 117 pounds, with a fair complexion, she's an artist.
pet: momo, a six month old, male, pug puppy.
aiko, a four month old, male, pembroke welsh corgi puppy.
grandmother: megumi ohori, a 67 year only female with silvery gray, shoulder length hair that she keeps bound in a bun. standing at 5'4'' and weighing 126 pounds, with a fair complexion, she is retired. she's been a very big part of ai's life, and is very important to ai, seeing as she is the only grandparent ai has ever had the chance of knowing. when ai's family lived in kyoto, they'd go to spend summer break at megumi's, every year.
best friend: junpei sato, a 17 year old, homosexual male with light blue dyed hair and very dark brown eyes. standing at 5'7'' and weighting 114 pounds, with a fair complexion, he's a student in the 12th grade. he, too, has random ear piercings, and the right side of his bottom lip pierced with a silver hoop. also, he has a tattoo matching ai's, but on his right wrist. although ai is an only child, junpei has always sort of served as an older brother to her. they've done everything together, such as their dyed hair, lip piercings, and matching tattoos. leaving junpei in kyoto was very difficult for ai to do, and often misses him.
::neighborhood:: ai and her family live in a 3DK apartment complex, in a 'good' part of town. conveniently located, its very close to her father's work site and a train station.
::job:: though ai doesn't currently have a job, she's always wanted to work in a candy shop or pastry shop. however, he parents don't wish her to work, seeing as she should instead enjoy her childhood and spend her time focused on friends and school. if she wants to buy something, she can just simply ask her parents for the funds. ai isn't one to be selfish and greedy, though, and helps around the house and such often to make up for it.
::transportation:: neither of ai's parents own a car of any type. she often likes to take the bus or train, along with walking.
::dating status:: single
::love life:: ai has never really been in any type of intimate relationship, and is actually very shy and timid towards the issue. however, she is openly bisexual.
::social status:: ai has been known to make friends well. around people she has a 'crush' on, she may act shy and quiet towards. otherwise, she's just her happy-go-lucky self. she would like to be friends with those she gets along with. sometimes, though, her cheerful attitude can turn a person off.
